GROVELAND, Fla. -

The Florida Highway Patrol says a blown tire on a van caused a deadly crash in Groveland Monday night that killed two people.

Troopers say the van's 37-year-old driver was traveling eastbound on State Road 50 when the van had a tire separation. The driver veered off into the shoulder but then over-corrected and traveled into the westbound lanes. Troopers say the van then collided with two pickup trucks heading westbound.

The impact killed one of the pickup truck drivers, Mark Miller, 60, from Nobleton, Florida. The van driver has not yet been identified, but troopers say the victim is a woman who lives in Orlando. The driver of the third vehicle involved suffered only minor injuries.

Troopers say the crash remains under investigation. Check back with Local 6 for updates on this developing story.
