Which Vehicles Are Tops For Tailgating?

Minivans, SUVs Dominate List

With college and pro football seasons under way, for many people the most important parts aren't the games. They're the tailgate parties.

While you can tailgate in any vehicle, some are better suited for tailgate parties than others.

According to Cars.com, a minivan has taken the top spot on the Web site's annual list of best tailgater.

Some of the features looked at in the SUVs, pickups, hatchbacks and minivans that were considered for the list include pivoting rear speakers, built-in coolers, hard drives for music storage and extra power outlets.

The vehicles were ranked based on the the number of features per car and the importance of each feature, then assigned each car a score.

The Top 10 vehicles for tailgating are:
