Born and raised in West Palm Beach, and a graduate of Florida State, Matt has an extensive background in news and news gathering.
He pursued his love of television news in Idaho Falls, Idaho, as an anchor for two years. From there, he moved to KOKH-TV FOX 25 in Oklahoma City, where he anchored and reported for their five-hour morning newscast. It was there that Matt found his adventurous side and, in addition to anchoring, Matt started a segment called "Training Days," where he rode a bull, played arena football and drove a monster truck! But it didn’t stop there. In addition to his adventures, Matt worked as an investigative reporter and has produced a variety of special reports.
Matt has been recognized by AP, NPPA, OAB and the EMMYs for his investigative, in-depth and feature stories. While he loves his job, the best part of his day comes when he goes home to the three most beautiful girls in his world, his wife and two daughters.
