A 45-year-old man was killed early Monday in a crash in Osceola County.

The Davenport man, whose name has not been released, was killed around 2 a.m. near the intersection of Poinciana Boulevard and Crescent Lakes Way.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man lost control of his 2000 Dodge pickup truck and crashed into a tree.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

It's not known if the man was wearing a seat belt or if alcohol played a role in the crash, troopers said.
