If breaking news happens while you are sleeping, chances are Mark Lehman is on the scene and getting to the bottom of what happened.

Mark joined the Local 6 News team in August 2005, but he's called Central Florida home for much longer.

After growing up in Ft. Myers, Mark left Southwest Florida for Orlando.  As a proud graduate from the University of Central Florida, Mark began his career in journalism as a radio producer at News/Talk AM 580 WDBO.  There he covered some of the biggest stories that have hit our area such as the space shuttle Columbia tragedy and the unprecedented 2004 Hurricane season.  Once he learned the ins and outs of radio, Mark took his passion for news to TV and just down the street to Local 6.

While most people are fast asleep in their bed, Mark starts his day overnight by searching for news on the streets of Central Florida.  From covering severe weather, to traffic, to any story that can affect your family, Mark makes sure you don't miss anything as you get ready for your day.

When not at work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on his UCF Knights.
