BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. -

The Florida Highway Patrol has reopened Interstate 95 in south Brevard County.

Southbound lanes of I-95 were closed at Malabar Road because smoke from a fire in Sebastian had reduced visibility.

As an alternate route, officials suggested that motorists exit at Malabar Road, take a right on U.S. 1, a right on County Road 512 in Indian River County and then left to get back on I-95.
