Woman, girlfriend killed by estranged husband

BRANDON, Fla. – Grief counselors will be at a Polk County middle school Monday to comfort students after an assistant principal and teacher are killed in what police say was a double-murder suicide.

Investigators said Vicente Fuillerat  killed his estranged wife , Lisa, and her girlfriend, Samara Routenberg at their home in Brandon, Friday morning.

After the shooting, detectives said Vicente Fuillerat then killed himself.

School officials said Lisa Fuillerat was a math teacher at Lake Gibson Middle School in Lakeland. Samara Routenberg was the assistant principal.

Investigators say Vicente Fuillerat attacked the couple in the past and was charged with aggravated battery in 2015.

Police said Fuillerat left a suicide note at the scene but details of that letter have not been released.
