'True Blood' couple ready for 'bundle of fun'
Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer expecting first child together
"True Blood's" Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are eagerly anticipating their new arrival, and Paquin showed off her growing baby bump recently in Los Angeles.
The pair attended the red carpet premiere for season 5 of HBO's epic vampire saga, and though the 29-year-old Oscar winner stayed mum about the couple's first child together, Moyer was a bit more vocal.
It probably helps that the 42-year-old has been to this rodeo before, having already had two other children from a previous relationship.
"It's always amazing," he told the Hollywood Reporter of becoming a father for the third time this fall. "I love my kids so much and the fact that Anna is pregnant just adds more crazy to the bundle of fun."
But Paquin insists the true "bundle of fun" will be all the twists and turns their hit show will take this upcoming season.
"I feel like we always manage to offend somebody or upset somebody," she told CNN of the out-the-box story lines. "I don't know if this season is more upsetting, or controversial. I think our quotient is usually pretty high every year. But then also it's so weird on our show, and we push the envelope so far, that it feels pretty normal for us at this point."
"True Blood" actor Alexander Skarsgård - who plays sexy vamp Eric Northman on the show - found himself addressing rumors he'd soon star in another series - one based on E.L. James' hit novel "Fifty Shades of Grey."
He said he was flattered that some online fans of the book series have reportedly been pushing for him to play the lead character, Christian Grey, when it is adapted to film.
"I should probably read the book," the actor told CNN. "I haven't read the books. I don't know. I don't have much to say about it. But that's obviously flattering if they think that."
"True Blood" returns to the airwaves June 10.
