Someone apparently is willing to pay big bucks for Scarlett Johansson's snot.
Last week, Johansson appeared on the "Tonight Show" with a cold and blew her nose. She told Jay Leno she would auction off her dirty tissue to benefit charity.
Johansson then put the tissue in a plastic bag and signed it.
Monday night, Leno said bidding had topped $4,000 at the time of taping.
Tuesday night, Leno said he'll announce the winner.
The eBay auction has since closed, with the Web site listing $5,300 as the winning bid. We'll have to see if that bid is verified.
Johansson said the money will go to Harvest USA, which feeds the homeless in shelters, missions and soup kitchens.
The actress told Leno on the show last week that she got the cold from Samuel L. Jackson, her co-star in the new movie "The Spirit."
