6 Things To Do in Central Florida: Aug. 19 to Aug. 21

This weekend you can meet the newest addition to the UCF Knights football team, taste and witness a macaroni and cheese throwdown for a good cause, bring your dog for a baseball game or bar crawl, have an educational date night at the Orlando Science Center or paddle the Rainbow River under the moonlight.

Saturday, Aug. 20:  UCF Football FanFest at Bright House Networks Stadium, 4465 Knights Victory Way, Orlando. 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Free. Meet the 2016 UCF football team and the coaching staff, get autographs, play family friendly games, face painting, photo booth, sand sculptures and caricature artists. More info.

Saturday, Aug. 20: O-Town MacDown 2016 at Osceola Heritage Park ,1875 Silver Spur Ln, Kissimmee. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Child tickets $10, Adult tickets $15. Family-fun, mac-n-cheese cooking competition with chefs and caterers benefiting Give Kids The World Village. Sample mac-n-cheese, live entertainment, a kids' zone, chef demonstrations and more. More info.

Saturday, Aug. 20: BarkHappy Orlando: Sanford Pup Crawl supporting Pet Rescue by Judy at Celery City Craft, 114 S Palmetto Ave, Sanford. 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets: $10 (advance purchase only) and come with gift card for free night at Pet Paradise Resort, doggy goody bag and cookies, frisbee and dog treats. Live music, games at 3 dog-friendly stops. 21 and up, dogs must be on leash. Get tickets, more info. 

Saturday, Aug. 20: Adults-Only Science Night Live at Orlando Science Center, 777 E Princeton St., Orlando. 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Featuring the digital art show SENSORIUM, presentations from Microsoft, Mindbender Mansion and more. 21 and up. General admission is $15.95, free for members. More info.

Saturday, Aug. 20: Moonlight Paddle at KP Hole, 435 SW 190 Ave. Rd., Dunnellon. Paddle the Rainbow River under the light of the moon. 8 p.m. Equipment provided for $35/person or $20/person using your own equipment. Launch time will vary based on moonlight schedule. More info. 

Sunday, Aug. 21: Bark in the Park at Space Coast Stadium, 5800 Stadium Pkwy Ste 101, Viera. 5  p.m. to 9 p.m. Bring you dogs out to a Manatees Baseball Game. Spots are limited to the 1st 200 dogs! For tickets, please follow the link and clink on the "Berm" option for August 21st and you can order a $5 ticket for you and a $3 for each dog. More info.
