Bill Maher created another controversy after sending a Christmas Eve tweet about Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow.

During the Denver Broncos 40-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, Maher tweeted, “Wow, Jesus just ....TimTebow bad! And on Xmas Eve! Somewhere in hell Satan is tebowing, saying to Hitler ‘Hey, Buffalo’s killing them.’” (Explicit language has been removed)

Fox Business’ “Follow the Money” host Eric Bolling was the first to express his outrage on Twitter when he posted: “Bill Maher is disgusting vile trash. I can’t even repeat what he just tweeted about Tebow...on Christmas Eve. .straighttohellBill.”

A movement to boycott Maher’s HBO current events show “Real Time with Bill Maher” is developing across Twitter. The comedian has yet to comment on the controversy.

Tim Tebow hasn't commented on Maher's tweet and after the game wrote on Twitter, “Tough game today but what’s most important is being able to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas everyone GB2.”

“Real Time With Bill Maher” returns to HBO on Jan. 13.
