As you're enjoying the holiday, raise a glass for Cynthia Nixon - the 46-year-old actress tied the knot with girlfriend Christine Marinoni, 45, on Sunday in New York, her rep confirms.

According to People magazine, Nixon donned a custom-made gown by Carolina Herrera for the event, held just under a year after New York declared same-sex marriage legal.

Nixon and Marinoni were engaged in 2009, and welcomed their son Max Ellington in February 2011.

Nixon also has two other children from her prior relationship with photographer Danny Mozes.
