Mick Jagger to host 'SNL' season finale
Rolling Stones singer's hosting for first time
Many questions still surround rumored potential changes for "Saturday Night Live," but here's one sure thing: Mick Jagger is scheduled to host the May 19 season finale.
It's Jagger's first time hosting, but he'll also perform on the sketch comedy show for the third time that Saturday.
He'll bring to a close a season that's been plagued by whispers that a few of the show's stars, particularly Kristen Wiig, were gearing up to depart.
Wiig has vaguely addressed the reports, careful not to say anything definite, and in a call with press Wednesday, "SNL" creator Lorne Michaels conveyed about the same, reports the Orlando Sentinel.
"I'm not really certain myself," Michaels said when asked about the casting reports. "I know there will be some, but it's sort of the nature of the way we work that no one talks about it until the season's done. Needless to say, I'd like everyone to stay."
But before the season ender, Eli Manning will serve as host for the May 5 episode, with Rihanna as musical guest.
