DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – Lindsay Lohan's stepmother was arrested Sunday in South Florida after she caused a domestic disturbance and kicked a police officer who was taking her to jail, police said.
Kate Lohan, 33, faces charges of disorderly intoxication and battery on a law enforcement officer after an incident in Delray Beach.

According to a Delray Beach police report, officers were called to a domestic disturbance at 235 Via D'Este. When officers arrived, they saw Lohan, who appeared to be intoxicated, yelling at her husband, who refused to let her inside his home.
Michael Lohan told police that his wife, who does not live with him, returned from visiting a neighbor and came inside "heavily intoxicated." After Michael Lohan told her that she needed to leave, Kate Lohan became angry and started yelling at him.
Police said Kate Lohan approached one of the officers and threatened to throw a bag of ice in the officer's face. Police said she was in a fighting stance with her fist balled and her shoulders back.
"She was causing such a commotion that neighbors in the next building began turning on their patio lights to see" what was happening, the report said.
Police said Kate Lohan lunged past an officer in an attempt to get inside the home and was placed under arrest.
While Kate Lohan was being walked to the patrol car, she kicked Sgt. Rachel Van Ness in the leg, the report said.
Kate Lohan was released from jail on a $3,000 bond.
