Live on Letterman - Ben Harper

About the Band:
On Tuesday, May 17, one day prior to his LIVE ON LETTERMAN appearance, Harper will release Give Till It’s Gone, his 10th studio album. The record, led by the single, “Rock N’ Roll Is Free,” was recorded at the Los Angeles studio of Jackson Browne, who harmonizes with Harper on the song, “Pray That Our Love Sees the Dawn.” The album also features two tracks co-written and performed with Ringo Starr, the psychedelic-tinged “Spilling Faith” and “Get There From Here,” an improvisational instrumental. Harper, who has been storming the music scene for nearly 20 years, has received two Grammy Awards, both in 2005, for Best Pop Instrumental Performance and for Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album. He is currently playing many major festivals and will continue to perform in the U.S. and abroad throughout the summer.
