Live on Letterman - Rascal Flatts

About the Band:
Since their inception a decade ago in Columbus, OH, Rascal Flatts -- Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney – have had 11 #1 singles and have more titles in Billboard's “Top 100 Songs of the Decade” than any other group in the country format. In the last 10 years the band has sold more than 20 million albums (every one of their studio albums has gone multi-platinum) and 25 million digital downloads, while all six of their studio albums have made Billboard's “Top 100 Country Albums of the Decade” listing. The band will release a new album, “Nothing Like This,” with Big Machine Records on Tuesday, 11/16/10.

Rascal Flatts’ trademark sound -- LeVox's powerfully emotive lead vocals coupled with the soaring harmonies of DeMarcus and Rooney, set amid world-class arrangements and production, have made the band the standard bearers for cutting-edge country. Drawing on Nashville's best tunesmiths and their own enviable songwriting skills, they have released, in songs like "These Days," "Bless The Broken Road," "What Hurts The Most" and "Take Me There," some of the most important and successful music to come out of Nashville in recent years. They have been the ACM and CMA top vocal group every year since 2003, and won multiple American Music Awards and People's Choice Awards. This past Sunday their plaque was installed in the Music City Walk of Fame in downtown Nashville and next year they will receive a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
