Miniature town becomes a holiday tradition

Fred Akers has been a cabinetmaker for over 40 years. In his spare time he has built a small town, all by hand, all by himself. It should be noted that the town, "Akersville" is scaled to 1 and a half inches to 1 foot. It's modeled after a small town in the early 1950s and the entire town fits in his garage.  Fred averaged 32 hours a weeks or a total of 1,500 hours completing the project that he hopes people will come see and enjoy. The details on this holiday display are amazing, a must see. The address is: 13545 Guildhall Circle, Orlando and the hours the display is open are from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. each night. The last day will be New Years day. The exhibit is free and is highly recommended.
