WASHINGTON -- Two of the new cheetah cubs at the National Zoo need names, and zookeepers are turning to the public to make the choice, television station WRC reported.The four cubs -- two males and two females -- were born on Nov. 23. They went on public display on Feb. 5.

- Uheri (Swahili for "good fortune")
- Fahari ("pride")
- Askari ("guard" or "watchman")
- Imara (Swahili for "strong" or "strength")
- Sanaa ("work of art" or "beauty")
- Karas (a region of Namibia)
