Mixing butter, coffee may result in weight loss

A new weight-loss trend substitutes standard coffee creamer and sugar for something else--butter.

The recipe calls for two cups of hot coffee, two tablespoons of unsalted, grass-fed butter and up to two tablespoons of MCT oil, which is found in coconut oil.

Advocates claim the butter-coffee mixture offers "good" fats, which may cut food cravings, boost energy and boost brain power.

Some doctors are not convinced with this weight-loss method, though, because there is no evidence proving these health benefits.
