6-year-old gets results with book drive

Whitney Gaston, mom gathered 1,300 books

This week's News 6 Getting Results Award Winner might be the cutest.

Whitney Gaston, 6, realized there was a problem in this world.

Many kids don't have access to good books. So Whitney and her mom came up with a plan.

They decided to get donated books from their family members and friends, and people at Whitney's dance studio.

In the end, Whitney and her mom gathered 1,300 books. All of them were given away to kids at the Orlando Union Rescue Mission.

Congratulations, Whitney!
