Nemours hosts prom for teens with chronic illness

Patients walked red carpet during 'A Night Of PROMise'

ORLANDO, Fla. – Some patients at Nemours Children's Hospital had quite the night Wednesday.

The hospital hosted a special prom for teenagers dealing with chronic illness.

Organizers said "A Night of PROMise" was for patients who may have been in the hospital during their school prom.

Patients were treated to a "Walk of Fame" salon, where volunteer stylists provided hair and makeup services. They also walked a red carpet surrounded by flashing cameras.
