Faulx's aunt, Michelle Faulx-Purcell, coordinated an emergency bone marrow drive at the Gold's Gym in St. Cloud. In less than 24 hours, Faulx was matched with a man already in the bone marrow registry.

After seeing Faulx's story on News 6, the response was overwhelming: More than 150 people joined the bone marrow registry the day after our story first aired.

Those matches will help more than 7,000 people on the waiting list on BeTheMatch.org, which expedited the process for Faulx.

Almost six months after finding his match AJ is cancer free and will be coming home next week.
