The Seminole County Sheriff's Office is investigating a local doctor who allegedly dumped patients' personal information in a trash bin, according to Local 6 News.

Thousands of documents were discovered Thursday night in a trash bin at Dr. Parviz Brauman's medical practice in Altamonte Springs.
The files discovered contained patient's Social Security numbers, credit card information, and treatment details, according to the report.
Brauman admitted he tossed the files, but said they weren't medical records and they weren't his, Local 6 News reported.
He said a medical management company worked in the same building years ago and when it left, it did not take its documents.
Brauman told Local 6 News that he is being evicted and he had to clear everything out of the building.
" All of them -- I threw them away," Brauman said. "I didn't know what to do with the stuff."
Brauman said all of his patients' records are accounted for.
Investigators will determine if the doctor will face criminal charges in connection with improperly discarding medical information.
