A man in Orange County, Fla., found hundreds of sensitive medical records dumped into a trash bin behind a florist shop, according to Local 6 News.
The medical records found in a trash bin off Mills Avenue in Orlando contained social security numbers, medical information and other personal patient information.
"Driver's licenses, phone numbers, addresses, I got everything -- that's not right," florist J. Michael Hicks said after finding the stash.
Local 6 News reported that most of the records belonged to current or former patients of Dr. Francis Brooks, who sold his practice on Mills Avenue four years ago.
The man who bought the records, Dr. James Zebranek, did not discard of them properly, Local 6 News reported.
Zebranek fled Orlando and the country earlier this year after the state began investigating him, according to the report.
In March, Zebranek allegedly performed procedures without a license.
The records were dug out of the trash bin and turned over to Orlando police.
