Stephen Jackson added 23 points and six assists for the Bobcats, who have won two in a row after a seven-game skid. Jackson and Wallace combined to shoot 18-of-20 from the foul line. Gerald Henderson chipped in 15 points off the bench for Charlotte, which outscored Toronto 64-35 in the second half. The Bobcats got center Tyson Chandler back in the lineup on Wednesday after a two-game absence due to lower back spasms. Chandler had five points and nine rebounds. However, Charlotte lost forward Boris Diaw in the first half after he twisted his ankle. Diaw finished with five points. The Pacers, who suffered a 123-112 setback at Toronto on Tuesday, got a solid game from Brandon Rush as he ended with 13 points and 11 boards. T.J. Ford had 11 points, six assists and five rebounds. Baron Davis led all scorers with 25 points and Marcus Camby went for a game-high 21 rebounds to go along with 15 points for the Clippers, who had won two straight, including a 91-87 win at Minnesota on Monday. Wade scored 16 of his team-high 24 points in the final quarter, but it was Beasley's heroics at the end that catapulted the Heat to their second straight victory after a three-game skid. Beasley finished with 15 points and 12 boards, while Jermaine O'Neal contributed 13 points and 16 rebounds. James Jones had 16 points for Miami before fouling out. Miami scored 16 in a row at one point in the final quarter, but the big difference down the stretch was free throw shooting. The Heat made all 11 of their attempts in the last quarter, while the Magic went 6-of-12. The Spurs have topped the Warriors 23 straight times in San Antonio and haven't lost to Golden State at home since drafting star forward Tim Duncan with the No. 1 overall pick in 1997. Duncan has been on the floor for 22 of those victories. He had 20 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists Wednesday for the Spurs, who closed out a four-game homestand with a 3-1 mark. Roger Mason added 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists off the bench for San Antonio, which shot 51.8 percent from the field. Monta Ellis tied a career-high with 42 points for the Warriors, who haven't beat the Spurs in the Alamo City since February 14, 1997. Steve Nash registered 11 points and 16 assists for the Suns, who have won four of their last five games overall and remained unbeaten in six home contests this season. Jason Richardson scored 20 for Phoenix, which has beaten the Grizzlies in 12 of the last 13 meetings. The Suns, who became the first team in the league to reach 12 victories, finished the game shooting 61.9 percent. They have scored 100 or more in 32 consecutive home games and have won 15 in a row as the host going back to last season. Zach Randolph scored 24 and had 13 rebounds for Memphis, which has lost two of three since a three-game winning streak. Rudy Gay chipped in 16 points in defeat. Final Score: Portland 93, New Jersey 83 Portland, OR (Sports Network) - Greg Oden scored 18 points and Portland moved the Nets closer to an NBA record for futility to start a season in a 93-83 victory at the Rose Garden. The Nets are 0-15 and with two more losses can tie the league mark for the worst start to a season, held by the 1988-89 expansion Miami Heat and tied by the LA Clippers in the lockout-shortened 1999 season. The Nets play in Sacramento Friday night before taking on the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers Sunday at Staples Center. New Jersey's 18th game of the season is at home against Dallas next Wednesday. Brandon Roy added 13 points for Portland, which never trailed in the game, but was tied with the Nets at one juncture in the third quarter. Rudy Fernandez and LaMarcus Aldridge each scored 12, while Martell Webster and Andre Miller netted 10 each in the win, Portland's third in a row and 10th in 12 games. Rookie Tyreke Evans added 19 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists for the Kings, who snapped a four-game skid. Evans' streak of seven straight games with 20 points or more came to an end. Spencer Hawes chipped in 16 points while Sergio Rodriguez had 15 for Sacramento, which started a four-game homestand Wednesday. Seven of the nine Kings players were in double-digits.
