'Goodest kid' video could win holiday shopping spree
Top prize is $5,000
Has Nathan or Madison been good this year?
A new family of online sites -- YoYo, Afterschool and Bookworm.com -- are putting kids to the test, 21st century style.
The sites are launching a search for what has been billed as the "Goodest" kid.
Parents are asked to submit a "short video" of their child "boasting about their abundant good deeds" to score a $5,000 Ultimate Holiday Shopping Spree. Ten runners-up will receive a $100 gift card.
The contest is for children from the ages of 3 to 12. The theme is easy enough: they just have to talk about how they have been good this year and/or why they deserve the title of The "Goodest" Kid.
The video must be less than two minutes and under 80 MB . Kids are asked to put together a wish list from the three sites (one from each site).
You have until December 16.
