'Rezoner' allows Seminole County parents to redistrict schools

Proposals can be submitted to school board

SANFORD, Fla. -

Seminole County parents have a new tool to express their thoughts in the school district's rezoning process.

Seminole County School District is changing enrollment at dozens of schools forcing thousands of students to go to a different school next year.

Rezoner allows parents to click on individual neighborhoods, see how many students live t here and move them around to try to save money and fill attendance at all schools.

Parents can then save and submit their proposals to the school board. The next rezoning meeting will be held Jan. 9.
