An Ohio woman accused of driving on a sidewalk to avoid a school bus in Cleveland has shown up to wear a sign about idiots following a judge's order.
On Tuesday, 32-year-old Shena Hardin stood in 32-degree cold while puffing a cigarette and wearing the sign that read "Only an idiot drives on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus." Hardin was also wearing headphones as passing drivers honked their horns.
Satellite TV trucks were streaming the event live near downtown Cleveland.
Last week, a Cleveland Municipal Court judge ordered Hardin to wear the sign from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. for two days.
Hardin was caught on tape driving on the sidewalk to avoid stopping as a bus was unloading children.
Hardin's license was suspended for 30 days and she was ordered to pay $250 in court costs.
