AirTran, the Orlando-based carrier, announced today a 24-hour sale with fares as low as $49 from Orlando International Airport.  The sale is unusual, not only for the deeply discounted fares, but also because there are no blackout dates.  That means people can travel any day of the week, any hour of the day, and pay the same low fare.  Seat are limited, however, and some of the deeply discounted base fares will not be available on all flights.

Fares are good for travel July 28 through September 21, 2012.

The sale ends midnight tonight, Pacific time (which gives those of us in EST three extra hours to book).
