The standoff began around 11 a.m. Thursday at a home on Messina Avenue near Willie Mays Parkway and King Cole Boulevard.
According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the man is also wanted in attempted homicide from earlier this year.
The stolen vehicle was noticed in the driveway of the home, and the man barricaded himself inside when deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant.
Deputies said there were no hostages, but there could have been weapons in the home.
