ST. CLOUD, Fla. -

St. Cloud police are talking to several men after a shooting killed one person that led to a standoff after an overnight party.

Police said they were called to 1400 Indiana Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Sunday about a shooting.

When police arrived, witnesses said five people were drinking at a party on the porch when a fight broke out.

Police said 28-year-old Cesar Rodriguez was shot and killed.

Police said the witnesses fled the scene and called 911.

Police said the shooter, ran to his home at 1612 Illinois Avenue and barricaded himself inside.

After SWAT and St. Cloud police negotiators established a perimeter, they discovered the man suspected of shooting Rodriguez was not inside.

Police said they took several people into custody where they are being interviewed.
