One person was injured after a bird struck a plane landing at Orlando Executive Airport on Friday.

Airport officials said the plane was flying from the Bahamas to Orlando with seven people on board when the bird struck the plane a few miles away from the executive airport at 1 p.m.

The victim was treated on scene and wasn't taken to the hospital.

The plane was a Piper Najavo PA-31-350, according to Federal Aviation Authority records.
