Detectives searching for missing 2-year-old Trenton Duckett have apparently run into another dead end in the investigation, according to Local 6 News.

Authorities in Leesburg, Fla., have been searching for Trenton since he was reported missing by his mother on Aug. 27.

Trenton's mother, Melinda, was named the prime suspect days after she killed herself.

During the investigation, Duckett told police that Trenton was abducted through the window while she was watching a movie with friends.

Wednesday, Leesburg police said they have the lab results back from the cut window screen in Melinda Duckett's apartment and they are inconclusive, Local 6 News reported.
