More children have come forward claiming a Central Florida man known in Orange City, Fla., as a leader in foster care sexually assaulted them, according to a Local 6 News report.
Former president of the Volusia County Foster Adoptive Parents Association George Goulde and his wife are foster parents who took 14 children into their home during the past three years.
However, a recent tip to Florida's child abuse hot line over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend led to the arrest of Goulde for lewd and lascivious acts.
Police told Local 6 News that Goulde has admitted to molesting two children. Two other children have come forward saying Goulde assaulted them.
Orange City police Sgt. Jason Sampsell said Goulde tried to justify what happened.
"The children never told him no and from reading the report, he acted as the children wanted this to take place," Sampsell said. "It is an outrage. It is just surprising why a grown adult would stoop to that level."
Goulde is being held on $200,000 bond.
Goulde was also working as a missionary in Sanford, Fla.
