LAKE MARY, Fla. -- A Central Florida man was arrested Tuesday on several charges after police said that he pulled down a boy's pants and attempted to pull another boy's shorts down.
Justin Thomas Kraus, 22, of Lake Mary, was charged with simple assault with a threat to do violence, battery, an unnatural and lascivious sex act and kidnapping, according to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.
The two incidents happened in November and December, according to sheriff's investigators.
According to a police report, on Nov. 16, Kraus approached a boy who was on his way to Greenwood Lakes Middle School and asked him for his shorts.
The boy refused, so Kraus then offered him $50 for his shorts, deputies said. After refusing a second time, Kraus told the boy he would give $100 for his shorts, according to deputies.
The boy said that he then told Kraus, "No, I have to get to school," and that's when, deputies said, that Kraus grabbed the boy's shorts and threatened to shoot him.
The boy told investigators that Kraus was wearing a blue T-shirt with the words "Under Cover Police" on it.
On Dec. 12 at the Lake Mary Target, investigators said Kraus approached a boy and offered him money to buy his mother a gift. The boy refused the offer, and Kraus grabbed him by the arm, according to sheriff's deputies.
The boy screamed, and Kraus fled after pulling down the boy's pants, according to the police report.
Investigators said it's not known if anyone else was approached by Kraus.
