ORLANDO, Fla. -- A special group on Walt Disney World property is giving away 1.25 million priceless experiences or "dreams" to tourists this year, including a chance to spend the night in Cinderella's Castle for the first time ever, according to a Local 6 News report.
The Disney Dream Squad is offering the experiences to visiting families as part of the company's Year of a Million Dreams promotion.
"Every single day, I get to tell someone either that they won a Dream Fast Past or I could be telling them we are sending them on a trip around the world, Disney Dream Squad worker Traci Pulsifer said.
Tourists chosen to participate in the celebration are selected at random.
"They tell me where I'm going to be, what prize we are giving and at what time and exact seat location, so I just have to pick up my packet and rip open the envelope," Pulsifer said.
So far, the Dream Squad has given out 300,000 dreams.
"She won a $500 shopping spree and back home she works at a Children's Hospital," Pulsifer said. "The first thing she bought was gifts, I think, for all those children back home."
The group is offering thousands of "dreams" to tourists every day.
Among the gifts, three tourists will win grand marshal trips to every Disney theme park around the world.
Also, Disney imagineers have designed a room inside Cinderella's Castle in Magic Kingdom and will be offering it to families.
