JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The human remains found near Florida Community College in Jacksonville early Tuesday morning are with the medical examiner. Officials said that a person walking in the woods near the Beach Boulevard campus after midnight discovered the bones and called police. Police said the area where the bones were found may be a homeless camp. The medical examiner will try to identify the remains and determine how the person may have died. An investigation is under way, but police said they have few leads.
