COCOA, Fla. -- Two people were in custody Thursday after Brevard County sheriff's deputies said they found and destroyed their 14th meth lab this year after concerned neighbors reported the alleged activity.
Shawna L. Coriddi, 34, and Timothy C. Milsaps, 37, were arrested on Wednesday at 144 Grace Ave. in Cocoa and charged with the manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of listed precursors and possession of methamphetamine.
A 9-year-old living in the home was taken into protective custody.
This is the 60th lab dismantled by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in the past 29 months, officials said. The federal Drug Enforcement Administration has rated Brevard as the state's top county for clandestine meth lab activities for three years running.
