ORLANDO, Fla. -- An arsenal of weapons was stolen from an Orlando Army Store after the thief used a sport utility vehicle to ram through the store's front gate, according to police.
Investigators said someone drove through Al's Army Store located on Orange Blossom Trail at 4 a.m. on Monday.
Owner Neil Crasnow, who has worked at his family-owned store for more than 40 years, said the stolen Ford Explorer crashed through a steel gate of his business and in less than 13 seconds, the men managed to steal around 15 guns, including rifles, pistols and revolvers.
It is the second time someone ran into his store to steal guns, Crasnow said.
He estimated there was $25,000 worth of damage done to the store.
Police are checking surveillance video of the crime in hopes of finding more leads in the case.
Anyone with information concerning the crime is urged to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
