16-Year-Old Girl Charged With Lewd And Lascivious Battery

OCALA, Fla. -- A 16-year-old Marion County high school student was arrested on lewd and lascivious battery charges after police said she had sex with her 14-year-old boyfriend in a school bathroom. The incident took place on Wednesday during school hours at North Marion High School, officials said. According to Marion County sheriff's investigators, the girl, who will not be named because of her age, skipped class to go to a soda machine with her boyfriend. The two then went to a girl's restroom, where consensual sexual intercourse took place, officials said. The teens admitted to the incident, sheriff's investigators said. The girl was transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center. Information regarding school discipline for the pair is not known. Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
