A 15-year-old student was arrested Monday for reportedly highjacking a school bus with a samurai sword as part of a plan to blow up his high school, according to Local 6 News.

Police said that the teen commandeered an empty school bus in Nye County and then led authorites on a high-speed chase. The bus was stopped and the suspect caught in Shoshone, Calif., according to the report.

Investigators said that after catching the teen, they found plans to blow up Pahrump High School with bombs.

The teen and another 15-year-old suspect were arrested on charges of conspiracy.

Police also reportedly found shotgun shells in one of the boy's backpacks, according to a report.
