Gorilla-Masked Robbers Terrorize ATM Customers

Two robbers wearing gorilla masks held up and pistol-whipped a man at a Orlando ATM early Wednesday and are believed to be responsible for another nearby robbery, according to police.

Investigators said the gorilla-masked bandits surprised their victim at the McCoy Credit Union on Central Florida Parkway and South Orange Blossom Trail.

Officers said the gorillas hit and pistol-whipped the man as they drove away.

The same men costumed robbers are suspected of robbing another ATM customer at the Vista Credit Union located on south International Drive a short time later.

The victim gave a similar description of the crime.

Deputies are investigating.
