Authorities in Orange County are searching for a man who is accused of attempting to rob and kill a man on Nov. 3.
Orange County sheriff's detectives released a composite sketch of a man wanted in connection with the shooting of 32-year-old Henry Garcia.
According to investigators, Garcia was sitting on his car outside 5445 Limelight Circle in south Orange County at about 1:30 a.m. when he was approached by two men with whom he and an associate had chatted with earlier.
When the men returned, one of them pointed a gun at Garcia and demanded money, deputies said. While the man held him at gunpoint, the other went through his pockets, according to deputies.
Garcia began to fight with the assailants and was shot once in the upper torso, Orange County sheriff's deputies said.
The gunman was described as a black man in his mid-20s about 5 feet 4 inches tall and 160 pounds with dreadlocks and a goatee. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, white tank top, baggy shorts and was armed with a small silver revolver with a laser sight, officials said.
The other man was described as black teen or man about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a then build, short hair and no facial hair.
