NASA Embezzlers Ordered To Repay Money

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Two NASA employees who pleaded guilty this summer to embezzling thousands of dollars from the space agency were sentenced Friday at a federal court hearing in Orlando to repay the money they took, serve time in prison and perform community service.
Judith Lynna Frisbee, 46, of Titusville, admitted to falsifying records and inflating expense reports by the amount of $120,577, Local 6 News partner Florida Today reported. She faced up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Frisbee was sentenced instead to 16 months in jail, three years probation, and 150 hours community service. She also must make restitution in the amount of $127,029.
Elizabeth Ann Osborne, 52, faced up to 10 years in prison plus a $250,000 fine after she admitted to using her government credit card to make $157,394.21 worth of electronics, furniture, jewelry and other purchases.
Osborne received 18 months in prison, three years probation and she has to make restitution of the entire amount. She will also have to serve 150 hours of community service.
