Doctors at Chicago's Rush University Medical Center removed a 10-pound hairball from the stomach of an 18-year-old woman.

The teen suffered from a condition called trichophagia which is a compulsive disorder that causes a person to eat hair.Doctors said a mass began collecting in her stomach and by the time doctors removed it, the hairball weighed 10 pounds and measured 15 inches by 7 inches by 7 inches.The girl originally went to the doctor complaining of pain and swelling in her abdomen.
