SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Central Florida woman who walked away from a weekend Christmas Party on Saturday and vanished was found unharmed with a friend Wednesday, according to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said details regarding the circumstances around the disappearance of Sandra Lyons were not known.
Lyons left a party at an Oviedo home Saturday night after a fight with her husband, Christopher Myers.
"We were getting ready to go home when she just decided to walk off," Myers said. "So, her purse, credit cards, her money, her identification everything (was left behind). She didn't even have a jacket on that night."
K-9s with the Search and Rescue of Central Florida group followed Lyon's scent to a trail in a secluded picnic area near the Osprey Lakes subdivision.
Searchers said her scent vanished at the scene.
"The next day I thought, she'll pop up," friend Jill Sheehan said. "Then the next day (came) and we got worried. No, we are really worried because we don't know where she is."
Lyons was officially listed as a missing person Wednesday.
