An image of a mysterious human-like figure on Mars snapped by NASA's spacecraft Spirit has sparked a flurry of theories of what it is on the Internet.

A magnified version of the image appears to show a man walking with his head tilted to the side.Some are calling the images the equivalent of Big Foot pictures and evidence of an alien presence. However, others are saying it is just a rock formation or strange lighting.The so-called "Mars Man" was only recently discovered in the photos by two people in China.The image is available on NASA's Web site.
