The robbery happened on Wednesday at about 3:30 p.m. at the Bank of America, located at U.S. 441 and state Road 44.

According to Lake County sheriff's deputies, a white man with a goatee and wearing glasses and a camoflauge baseball hat with the word "Racing" on it entered the bank and waited his turn in line.

When he approached the counter, he gave the teller a note demanding money and indicated that he had a weapon under his denim jacket although none was seen, deputies said.

The teller complied with the man's demands, and he walked out of the bank.

Witnesses said the robber left in a red Ford Ranger pickup with an extended cab. The pickup had silver mirrors and chrome wheels.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
