COCOA, Fla. -- A Cocoa man who investigators said bragged about having sex with an infant was arrested after it was discovered he had been a collector of child pornography for 20 years.

Officers received a tip from New York that nighttime security guard Gordon Taylor, 43, was allegedly involved in collecting and sharing child porn.

When detectives investigated, they found extremely graphic videos and photos.

"By his own admission, he has been a collector of child pornography for 20 years," Brevard County sheriff's Lt. Todd Goodyear said.

Investigators said Taylor bragged over the Internet about having sex with an infant.

"What he had was extremely troubling," Goodyear said. "He has videos with adults having sexual relations with infants. Digital images and videos -- he runs the gamut."

Taylor's mother said he did not venture outside much.

"He is a hermit," mother Genette Cottington said. "They say it's true, and they're investigators."

"I have a 12-year-old and I would not him nowhere near him," neighbor Sebastian Miller said. "If you are going to look at child pornography, you might as well as say sexual predator."

A federal report on Taylor called him a danger to society.

Deputies have not been able to identify the children in Taylor's photos.

He is being held in federal custody at the Orange County Jail.
