Noose Found Dangling In Home Depot Aisle Shocks Shoppers
A Home Depot shopper, who did not want to be identified, snapped cell phone photos and video of the noose from inside the Casselberry Home Depot."I was in disbelief," the shopper said. "And even the product I had to purchase there, I put back. I didn't want to shop there anymore."Other shoppers were also outraged over the noose."I think it is pretty sick," Louis Cravens said. "I thought that was gone years ago.""Something like that, people think it is hilarious but we think it's ignorant," Jennifer Cravens said.Home Depot responded to the noose photos Wednesday night."Our own internal investigation is ongoing and it will continue until we determine the culprit behind the issue," Home Depot representative Craig Fischel said.Casselberry police officers were dispatched to the store to investigate.A police spokesperson told Local 6 that it's not being considered a criminal matter, saying, "There's no victim and no crime," Local 6's Adam Longo reported."Do you have a problem with the police saying there's no victim and no crime?" Longo asked the shopper."Yes, I do," the shopper said.Officials at Home Depot said they are checking surveillance video from inside the store.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
